Polish Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology Jadwiga Emilewicz visited New York and met with New York Polonia at the Consulate General of Poland. Her main objective was to inform Polonia about the legislative changes regarding trade in Poland but also to invite Polish-American entrepreneurs to invest in Poland. The minister also announced that the new, long awaited Polish Investment and Trade Agency in new York will open by the end of this year, which was praised by Consul general of Poland in NY, Maciej Golubiewski. Minister Emilewicz spent two days in the USA. She conducted meetings in Washington DC and in New York, where she took part in High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development at the United Nations Headquarters.
