The representatives of the Polish-American Chamber of Commerce North East together with Show Me Your Heart Foundation from New Jersey welcomed the delegation of children to the United States from Asia.
On Friday, July 13th, the group was welcomed by Heather Choi, president of Show Me Your Heart Foundation, to experience a day filled with music and summer fun. The group will soon perform at the Hackensack Medical Center, and later at Lincoln Center in New York.
The collaboration between Show Me Your Hart Foundation and Polish-American Chamber of Commerce North East was orchestrated by the president of the chamber, Karolina Dehnhard, also the family law attorney from renowned law firm Budd & Larner in Short Hills, NJ. Her intention is to share the network with her fellow Poles. She was joined by Alexandria Kolodko, co-owner of Brooklyn Imports, distributor of Polish goods in the USA, and board member of the Polish American Chamber of Commerce North East division.
Children from South Korea, China and Vietnam, were invited to come to the United States to show their musical talent. They will spend 10 days in the US to learn about American life and culture – all this possible because of the Hudson Fine Arts Foundation and Show Me Your Heart Foundation from New Jersey.
During the practice performance on Friday, children played the music of Beethoven, Chopin but also Chinese classical music on the piano. Some of them sang and played other instruments.
