Radio RAMPA guest was Councilman Robert Holden, representing neighborhoods of Maspeth, Ridgewood, Glendale, Middle Village, Woodhaven and Woodside in the New York City Council.

We spoke about upcoming Polish-Heritage Night at NY City Hall that will take place on October 2, but also, we discussed many local issues: opening of a homeless shelter in Glendale, makeover of Fresh Pond Road, scandal at Maspeth High School and grade fraud in NYC Schools. Councilman is also offering his insight in the decision to close Rikers Island and build local prisons in all boroughs except for Staten Island.

We also ask, about the behind the scenes of NYC Council work, and how is it to deal with current Mayor Bill de Blasio.
