Dr. Eric Y. Hayden is a Scientist at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in the Molecular Biology, Bioassay & Protein Development group within the Therapeutic Proteins Department.
He currently works on developing two drugs, that can be used in fighting coronavirus. If all the trials go according to plan, it is possible, that one of the drugs will be available after the summer.
Dr. Hayden also explains how remdesivir works – the medication has been approved for emergency use in the USA as a treatment for COVID-19.
